Ego Girbertus ad te Raimon Berenger, comitem Barchinonensem et Provincie
marchionem, filium Dulcie comitisse, et ad nepotem tuum Raimundus Berengarium,
filium Beatricis comitisse, lo castel de Greden, las forzas que isson e che
faitas i sseran, no't tolrai, ni t'en tolrai, ni no'l te devedarai, ni no
t'en decebrai, ni om ni femna ab mon art ni ab mon engen, ni ab mo chonsel.
E ssi om era o femna ch'el te tolgess o t'en tolgess, ab achel ni ab achela
fi ni societad non auria ni tenria al teu dan, meu cient, fos pel castel
a recobrar, e dreitz aitoris t'en cerai per fe e ssans engan. E lai on recobrar
lo podrai, eu'l recobrarai, et in ta fedeltad lo tenrai. E sse tu'l me demandas
per te, o per tuum missum, o per tuos missos, eu'l te redrai sans logre de
ton aver e de ta onor, et adenant en euss sagrament te istarai e de somoniment
no m'en devedarai. Et aquel que per te m'en somonra, regard non i aura de
me ne de mo poder. Eu Girbertz a ti Raimund Berenger suprascripto, et ad
tuum nepotem Raimundum Berengarii prenominatum, tot aissi vos o tenrai e
us'o atendrai sine vestro engan. E per atretal conveneza, chon aici es sobrescrit
del castel de Greden, per atretal convenenza vos o tenrai e vos o atendrai
del castel de Baldasse; e per atretal covenenza del castel de Montrodad;
e per atretal covenenza el castel de Moriers, dos mes, genuer e febreir,
et el dos mes chedas en l'altra part, marz e jun, no us tobrai. Totum, sicut
suprascripum est, vos o tenrai et o atendrai eu Girbert per fed et sine engan,
per Deum et hec sancta quatuor Evangelia facto sacramento, mense octobri,
anno ab incarnacione Domini M° C° L°.
